The
Peljesac Peninsula and the area around Orebic in particular
is a sports and nature lovers paradise. You can enjoy a wide
variety of activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing,
snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, mountain biking, tennis
and hiking.
Those who want a more leisurely holiday can spend their time
lazing on one of the nearby beaches that provide excellent
facilities, as well as plenty of shade and safe swimming in
the cleanest sea in the Mediterranean.
The
Peljesac Peninsula is also a famous wine producing region,
and visiting the local vinyards is a must. The plentiful Dalmatian
sun provides perfect conditions for the production of excellent
wines such as Dingac, Postup and Peljesac, one of which
will be waiting to welcome you on your arrival at the villa.
If
all that isn't enough it's only a short ferry journey to Korcula,
one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean
or a 90 minute drive to the beautiful UNESCO world heritage
city of Dubrovnik, the jewel of the Adriatic, where you can
explore the awesome city walls and narrow alleyways and immerse
yourself in the vibrant café and arts scene.
There
are also opportunities to hire a boat or yacht and go island
hopping to the nearby islands including Hvar, Lastovo and
Mljet, the latter being designated as one of Croatia's national
parks.
